The condition of Mexico
Living in Mexico exposes one to many difficult images that are hard to accept. Some images that are hard to accept are the environment, gang members, and poverty. These things make a life for a Mexican a bad experience. It can be difficult to lead a healthy life when dealing with these issues. Unfortunately this is how the conditions of Mexico are today, but we can make a difference to make it a better place to live.
First of all, the environment gets worst because people do not recycle their trash, they throw them on the streets and it makes Mexico look bad as a dirty city. People are letting the city be more contaminated than it is now, and they are letting themselves get more infected by getting diseases that are hard to find a treatment for it. If the environment changes people would be healthier. Also, people don’t have enough water to drink because the water gets dirty by the contamination of the trash. Moreover environment gets worst because people are cutting a lot of trees and they are disappearing the nature because of the trees they are cutting.
Secondly, the gang members are destroying the world. It is a big issue dealing with those people because sometimes they usually threaten people. People are afraid of these people because they usually abduct or rape innocent people just because they want vengeance. That’s why we have to make a difference in this country stop criminal gang member so our city won’t get worst. These gang members are having a better life and a better future by selling drugs to people, trading drugs to other countries that is how they improve their lives. People are facing a lot of challenges, violence and other horrible situations to improve their country and overcome the situation.
Third situation, poverty of and need of job are one of the most terrible situations that Mexico is facing. People are loosing their jobs by the economy that the whole world is facing, not only in Mexico also the U.S. By loosing their jobs they are loosing their houses and that is hard to overcome. This poor people have to confront this horrible situation, but they’re not the only ones that are suffering also their kinds that are facing these situations and because of this most of them have troubles at school. Some of them suffer depression and their self-steam goes down and it causes a lot of damages to the kids and it does not permit them to grow well. Poverty exists in the streets in which orphan kids live. Some orphans live under bridges , they live like homeless people because sometimes they ask for alms so they could eat at least a piece of food. Nevertheless they do have orphanages that help those poor kids to survive from poverty and sometimes in the orphanages they get educated by those kindly people.
To conclude, with this images that are hard to accept as a Mexican that is what my country is facing in this time. Nevertheless Mexico is a wonderful place to visit and learn about. My suggestions are that Mexico should be more secure and tell those people to pick up their trash if don’t they should fine them to make it a better place to live and to travel on. Mexico would be a better place if violence disappears and yes we can make a difference.
Academic Autobiography
My name does not matter. I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. I am 18 years old. When I was little I learned a thing for example: how to become a better student and to be a better student you have to try your best, cooperating and participating in class, these two little keys are very helpful for your education, grades and other important things as a student. This is what my teachers showed me. They were telling me " show everyone that you can do it, you are capable to achieve your goals" so I am trying my best at school and at home.
Well, returning to my childhood I attended to Emiliano Zapata Elementary School for 7 years, from Kindergarten to sixth grade. It is located in Oaxaca, Mexico in a little town. The first language I spoke was Spanish. In my kinder year I was 5 years old in that time i remember that year was so hard for me because I didn't know nothing, not even the basic things that I had it to know. My teacher was cool but I didn't like staying in class. Her name was Mrs. Llaguno. In that class I learned basic things, how to write my name, write the alphabet order, those steps were hard for me. During my Elementary school I spent most of my time at school kicking it with friends and the rest of my time with my family.
Then, when I finished my Elementary year I went to Benito Juarez Middle school the nearest school from my town. It is located in the same city but a different town. I went there for six months until my mom and I decided to come here to the United States to have a better opportunity to live and study and learned more languages besides Spanish. We also came here because my mom is sick and because the doctors from Mexico didn't find any disease. My teachers from there were telling me that alot of doors fro the future would be open for me.Since that day I have fought for my future no matter what. After I came here I attended to Pio Pico Span School almost for two years, seventh and eight grade. In those two years that I was there I took ESL classes. ESL stands for English as a Second Language it is for those students who hardly come here to learn English. That class was hard for me learning English besides my original language was hard. I always got confused with the verbs it was hard to conjugate them in different kids of forms, but thank God I am used to it.My favorite teacher from Middle School was Mr. Zaldana. He was a Math teacher he taught me a lot of ways to solve a hard problem or just a simple problem. He always gave me his support by helping me with my homework that I didn't understand, he told me " never give up, if you came here it is because you wanted a better future , so keep going and you will triumph" his words gave me the support and now I always think positive things for my future.
Now, I attended to West Adams Preparatory High School. It is located at Washington. I have had a lot of fun in my classes during my four years of High School. In my freshman year I felt like out of my world, but I met new friends. I have had a lot of classes and I have tried my best to show up my grades. In accordance with the requirements to graduate from High School we should have our 230 credits, pass the CAHSEE and if we want to go to Universities we should pass the SAT & ACT, so I am trying my best to attend to college and be proud of myself.
